Like what the hell is this SLK with a damn Camaro hood? That goes against everything tasteful. Weird American V8 swap? Or just bad body kit? Also I put better brakes on my electric fat bike so why not check that out too?
NSX that may be the one I have seen before. Same color. Only one I’ve seen if that’s the case.
A fellow W123, actually the third I saw today as I drove mine.
Cool rig, I want.
Then behind it a Pinz!
Crazy T Bird
Is that a Chevy because the grill emblem was odd looking, this stuff isn’t usually around here so I don’t know.

The blue ‘Chevy’ is probably wearing a Holden badge. It’s a Holden Commodore. North America knows them as the Chevy SS while the Poms know them as Vauxhall VXR.
Badging the Chevy version with Holden livery is quite popular I’m told. As is badging the Holden version with Chevy badges for some odd reason.

That’s what I was wondering, yeah I think it did have the badge swapped.

As a kid I has a few T bird Hot Wheels with that cool cover. My nephew actually ended up with one of them, as far as I know he still has it,

The blue Chevy SS sedan you saw had the Holden emblem on it.

Yup Chevy SS with Holden badges was something you could even get from the factory

Weird that that SLK has a cowl induction hood... I can’t seem to find anything about it online

Probably some guy with a, “brilliant” idea!

Oh really, that’s cool you could order one like that.

Yeah only like the first two years though, they took that option away after announcing the shutting down of the Holden plant

It’s the first one I’ve ever seen. There isn’t even a Chevy dealer near here, have to drive north 30min I think to find one. Even the Nissan dealer left and went north a bit, Toyota took over all their space. Sonnen Motors here is a massive German pavilion of Audi and VW, then Mercedes and Porsche are right down the road. The Macan is killing it around here, new Highlanders and the usual RX too.

Tell me more about this electric fat bike! Sounds swanky!

Really? That is weird.

It’s a Super 73, sort of styled after a 70's mini bike. Has a 1000W motor and Panasonic lithium battery, can go around 20 miles unassisted. It has five levels of assist. But the disk brakes were not hydraulic and I didn’t like the feel, so I go better ones.

I mean some people get Suburbans but they go to Novato or Petaluma to get one I guess. Ford is up there too, Ford was here in the 80's but they moved north as well.

That just seems so odd that they would be so far away from the city area

I’m in Marin county, I think SF has them but generally most of the cars are kept in South SF.
![]() 07/19/2017 at 18:48 |

But doesn’t Marin have all the high end imports? I remember seeing Lambo and Maserati there. South SF kinda makes more sense for building Auto Parks
![]() 07/19/2017 at 18:57 |

Yes. Ferrari and Maserati are together (Because Fiat) by Mill Valley, Porsche is across the highway. Lambo is on Van Ness in SF with Rolls and Bentley.
